Our coffee is produced in Turkey as an homage to the country where the first coffee house in Europe was opened in Constantinople, now Istanbul, in 1554. We are proud to offer people from all over the world every day an authentic coffee experience that reflects the flavour of traditional coffee culture. Our Turkish coffee is traditionally ground as fine as dust for preparation in a stove-top pot, the cezve. Due to this method of preparation, Turkish Coffee contains the finest coffee particles, which give it a rather thick consistency. It impresses with an intense, authentic flavour, a pleasant acidity and a full, velvety texture.

In Türkiye is the origin of coffee culture as we know it today. In 1554, the first coffee house in Europe was opened in Constantinople, now Istanbul. Since then, coffee culture has spread around the world.

SiYAH GOLD was born out of a passion for Turkey’s rich coffee culture and the need to share the traditionally strong flavour of Turkish coffee with the world.

The name “SiYAH” is Turkish and means “black”. It is symbolic of the drink with the strong and full flavour that is often referred to as black gold. This name not only symbolizes the value and high status that coffee has for many people around the world but is also an obligation to us to live up to this “gold standard” in terms of processing, quality and taste every day.

Experienced master roasters, who understand the centuries-old art of traditional blending, mix the finest Arabica beans and intense Robusta beans to create an authentically strong flavour. This makes each of our varieties a little masterpiece.

Authenticity is important to us. The heart of SiYAH GOLD, our coffee manufactory, lies in Turkey, in Antalya. Our master roasters understand the centuries-old tradition of blending like no other. This is the only way we can preserve the original flavours and character of the coffee.

Sustainability

Careful use of resources and respect for the environment are essential to us. The roofs of our coffee factory will be equipped with solar panels. This allows us to generate up to 100% of our own electricity in the near future.
The water for our coffee factory comes directly from the neighbouring Taurus Mountains. It is filtered from the ground and fed directly into the production process.
As far as possible, we use mono-materials for our packaging to ensure maximum recyclability.
But sustainability doesn’t stop there for us. We will continue to endeavour to find environmentally friendly solutions for our manufactory in all areas.
